The therapeutic process is a journey of growth and healing. We often know we want to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life, but we feel unsure about how to achieve it. Too often, this uncertainty makes us feel frozen and causes us to continue in the same cycle we’ve been feeling stuck in. I strive to provide a warm, non-judgmental space that encourages and welcomes authenticity and vulnerability. Through my personal and clinical experiences, I have found that sharing our stories can be powerful, and provides the opportunity to feel empowered about our future. We can work together to make meaning of pain, and transform it into hope.

I value a client-centered, strengths-based perspective, and I use this framework to empower my clients to make lasting change. My goal is to create a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to explore your feelings, gain new insight into what is contributing to your struggles, and learn healthier ways of engaging with yourself and others. Creating a sense of calm and ease in our day to day lives may be challenging, but it is not impossible. Mindfulness and grounding techniques are key pieces in my work with clients to achieve the feeling of emotional and mental wellbeing.

I am passionate about working with young adults who are dealing with a variety of life’s challenges, including managing school stress, making career decisions/changes, exploring what the meaning of life may be, addressing interpersonal conflicts, etc. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, stress management, life transitions/adjustments, and substance abuse. I will support you in navigating challenging times in your life as we work together to find what makes you feel more like yourself again. I have worked with adult individuals of all ages, from all backgrounds and identities. I practice from a trauma-informed lens and incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative theory, positive psychology, and motivational interviewing into my work with clients. I also practice from anti-racist and feminist perspectives, and enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ community.

I am so glad you have taken the first step in making a change, and I look forward to supporting you on this journey.
